STEERING & SUSPENSION

The suspension is one of the most important parts of your vehicle. Because every part of a car is  interconnected, a bad suspension can cause your engine to work harder than it should.

There are 2 major signs of bad suspension:

  • Rough riding - the suspension is what keeps you from bouncing all over the place when driving down the road. If you notice that you’re feeling every bump even when driving on a relatively smooth and level road, that’s a sign that the suspension is worn.

  • Uneven tire wear - car’s suspension is supposed to distribute the vehicle’s weight evenly across all four tires so that they don’t wear down unevenly. If one tire seems to be far more worn than the others, that probably means the suspension isn’t working right.
